Pebble Beach Resorts Redesigns Short Course with Tiger Woods

Wayne Jay Forman holds a master of science in taxation from Long Island University in Greenvale, New York. In 2018, Wayne J. Forman became the CEO and president of DJF Global Group in New York, New York, where he oversees all operations of the virtual insurance agency. In his free time, Mr. Forman enjoys golfing at his favorite golf course at Pebble Beach Resorts, which recently announced that Tiger Woods and TGR Design will join them in redeveloping one of their older courses meant for junior golfers.

Late in 2019, Pebble Beach Resorts announced its partnership with Tiger Woods and his TGR Design to upgrade a smaller golf course on the grounds of the resort. The course will be a modernization of what used to be the Peter Hay Golf Course, set along the Monterey Peninsula in Pebble Beach, California.

Known as a “short course,” the Peter Hay Golf Course measures 748 yards. The course’s namesake was a longtime professional golfer who worked at Pebble Beach Resorts. He teamed with fellow golfers Jack Neville and General Robert McClure to map out the course. Together, the team created the course with junior golfers in mind in 1957. It only included nine holes.

The redesigned course is set to reopen in fall of 2020. It will rejoin the other five golf courses at the renowned resort.
